Exhibition designed and organized jointly by the Centre Pompidou, Musée National d’Art Moderne, and Carré d’Art - Contemporary Art Museum in Nîmes

The City of Nîmes celebrated May 7, 2003 the tenth anniversary of Carré d’Art.

Made from the collections of the Centre Pompidou, Musée National d’Art Moderne, supplemented by two loans from the Picasso Museum, the selection of the exhibition brought together 71 works by 48 sculptors. In a live course, she covered the twentieth century, from 1910 to today in favor sculpture installation. The exhibition, by its magnitude, was deployed on both levels of the museum (2500 m2), reminding the use of the space that was one of the inaugural exhibition in 1993.
