Vera Lutter’s work develops from the mid 90s in 4 areas: architecture and urban views (Venice), industrial sites, workshop views. It was born of the confrontation of the artist with the landscape of New York on her arrival in this city. Her work took its final shape in 1993 when it created the conditions for shooting these unique prints gelatin, using the space of a room or a container such as a camera obscura. Her images transformed the everyday, even in a very degraded sites experience a suspended time. She created two new works at the exhibition that focus on the role of light as a translation time.
